Hey all - decided I need to focus on getting my exercise in. I have been lax and talking myself out of doing it and I think that is why I am in a rut. So day 2 of exercising today and I am going to keep doing it. Also a good day food wise

B - cottage cheese, toast, apricot
L - meatloaf, green beans, squash
    S - 2 cookies
D - 2 Chipotle chicken skewers, squash and purple hull peas.

I love Stein Mart! I went to the store in Reno last week I bought several tops all from the ladies racks, not plus sizes.

Hi all. Been staying with the exercising so am excited about that. I also went shopping today. I didn't intend to but I was at Macy's for some pillows and slipper and between the two was the women's dept. I saw Navy slacks and need some for work SO I found a pair of slacks and a blouse to go with it. I haven't bought anything like that in Macy's for years!! It was kinda exciting.

Happy Memorial Day! Went to my neighbor's cookout last night. I had a small chicken leg and a little macaroni salad(which I had to give to hubby). Someone commented "you hardly ate anything!" My neighbor, who is about to be sleeved said "She's eating smaller portions--its all about moderation." I thought that was so cute! I learned how to concentrate on my eating, and enjoy the conversation that was swirling around me.

    B: 1/4 c. Special K protein cereal, skim
    coffee
    L: turkey burger, salad?
    D: I have no idea
    S: coffee

I just started eating a bit of bread. I can't even eat a whole slice but has to be toasted. I only have it about once a week or so. I love breads so I try to stay away from them. I don't like iceberg lettuce, but have had small bits of romaine and spinach. Each person is different, so try small bits. If it doesn't set well, try again in a few weeks.

This looks tasty, but at almost 500 calories, 11 g of saturated fat and over 1250 g of sodium in 1/8th of the recipe, I would be cautious about eating very much of it. Using low fat cream soups, skim milk, 97% fat free mayo and light cheese cuts the saturated fat in half, but the calories and sodium stay high around 402 & 1175 respectively.

Lettuce is really not appealing to me and pre-sleeve I ate a salad everyday. I think its more a texture thing than anything else. Bread I didn't have until the 12th week. I was never much of a bread person and like flip-flops said, it should be toasted.

Good Morning all! I had 4 days off, and hated coming back to work today... I went to a 50-60 karaoke on Saturday, and slept over our bff's house. I probably ate a little too much and know the wine didn't help either I walked 3 miles yesterday, and ate much better
