    Angry SOOO agravated!!!!

Hi, I just need to vent. I had my surgery on 3/13 and I have only lost 13 lbs! I lost 10 before surgery so that made me 228! I am only 215 now! I feel like I did this for no good reason. I try and get all my protein in and try and walk at least 2 to 3 times a week. I have a 2yr old and a 1yr old, so it is hard for me to go out by myself. I'm starting to feel really bad and a complet failure...... I just don't know what to do anymore.........

Help........ Is anyone else going through this!?

    ...sigh

It will come. Just make sure you're following your plan, and you will lose the weight.

If you have a thyroid problem as in maybe your thyroid is underactive, that could be why you are losing at a slower rate. I would have my Dr. check it out. I know that I've had thyroid problems since 2008. I was hyper which means overactive and had to have my thyroid destroyed with radiation which made me hypo.... SIGH... long story. Anyway, surgery was scheduled in 2008 but had to put it off. I gained 50 extra pounds when my thyroid was destroyed. Now my levels are good because of meds but I still have to keep a check on it every 4 months. Looking forward to the surgery but i have a feeling that I will lose slower than most. Just a thought as to why you may be losing slower. Good luck!

There is nothing wrong. 10-15 a month is the expected amount. You are right on track where you are supposed to be.

I just found out yesterday that my vitamin D level is VERY low, it's 7 and should be 30. My Dr said it may be why my weight loss has been slow. I'm 45 days out and only 18 lbs after surgery.

I'm two weeks out and have lost 7 lbs. If I figure on a stall the 3rd week, and a few pounds the 4th week, I'll probably be at about 10 lbs for the first month. I was hoping for more in the first month, but if I do 10 lbs a month, I'll be thrilled. I'll be at almost 100 lbs down by the end of the year, and that will feel awesome! Don't get too hung up on how much weight you are not losing, just focus on your successes! And 13 lbs the first month is definitely a success!
I may be a SLOW loser, but I'm still a loser!!

Look around and see if you can find a double jogging stroller for cheap. My dr says an hour of exercise 6 times a week for optimal weight loss. I know in the beginning that will be hard, but try and make a habit of it. Stick with it. It will come off!!
