Welcome McKenzie! I do hope your recovery is going well, it can be a little rough to start with but stick with it as it is well worth it in the long run. Remember to sip sip sip and take your protein when ever you can so that you cover hydration and body fuel. Take care of yourself!
Tiffany, I have been drinking Bariatric Advantage im suppose to be drinking 3-4 a day but I just can't do it. The taste is horrible and I have been drinking it since my 2 week pre-op diet. The are 100 calorie each, and to offset the shake I have Wonder Slim protein puddings which are 80 calorie or greek yogurt which has higher protein. So calorie wise is try to stay as close as possible to what the doctor wants which is 300-400. It's been tough because I'm use to eating when I'm hungery, now I have to remind myself to eat and pretty much force myself to. How about you? Are you having any of these problems?
I go back to the doctor on the 11th and plan to discuss with them more about it. They have been closed for Easter so I haven't got to tell them just yet, but I have been keeping everything down so that's a plus. I try not to go to the Greek yogurt or pudding but once a day and only did that yesterday and today. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my doctor isn't going to be to upset. We shall see I guess.
