    Red face Dresses and Undies....

Ok a couple weird questions for everyone so here goes ..... do you think a loose sun dress would be more comfortable than pants for travelling in after surgery / while still in Mexico? What about undies ladies? Lloose granny panties or more form fitting for tummy support........ Thanks for the help.

The sundress definitely. I'm not that far out from my surgery and my incisions still bother me if the waist band of my pants rubs on them.

I came home in loose comfy pants and just regular comfy underwear too and had no issues. You also don't want to come home to freezing weather and be in a sundress. I also get very cold on a plane.

My roommate wore one there and I was SO jealous, especially when I had to slide on my capris. Even though what I took to wear was loose, it was not as loose as her dress. (BTW, I am NOT a dress person!)

The only thing that was a problem for her was what to do with the drain...the darn thing is attached to you and just dangling there. I was at least able to pin it to my beltloops. She didn't have that option. In the end, she tucked it into her panties.

As for panties, I took boyshorts and had no issues w/them.

BTW, the weather was in the 70s-80s when I was there in January. However, it dropped quickly after sunset. If you take sundresses to wear around MX, take a light coverup.

    Best Wishes!

I wore sweat pant type pants with a drawstring it helped tuck the drain pouch instead of having it hang I could tuck in the pants and granny panties

I didn't travel but at home I wore dresses and pinned the drain to my bra and let it hang off to the side.
Oh and I found snugger panties helpful in keeping my lower abdomen from pulling on my upper belly but it's really personal choice.

I didn't have to travel ... only a 15 minute car ride from the hospital but I went to the hospital in jeans but came home in a sundress, it was very comfy. Also the first few days after surgery I wore sundresses.
