Random Update

I havent been around for a bit. Been battling my health crap - for which I'm seeing a specialist the day after tomorrow. Can't come quick enough. Enough about that for now - on to weight updates.

My wife is 50 pounds down since her sleeve surgery on 12/19. I am down 121 lbs since my sleeve surgery on 9/19. She started at about a 26/28W and slipped into a pair of size 18 jeans today that absolutely blew my mind. She was always stunning, but this weight loss has boosted her confidence in such a magnificemt way that makes her even more irrestible to me. As for me, I started at a 60 inch waist and am sitting comfortably in 42's. :-)

My wife had diabetes pre-sleeve. Post sleeve, that has been reversed. Praise God. We both had high blood pressure, sleep apnea and a sleu of other obesity related issues. Every one of them have been reversed with this weight loss.

This is something I am so glad I did for myself, and my bride agrees. This has given us more time together and has opened a world of possibilities for us.

P.S. What do ya'll eat on average? And do ya'll exercise? Take special supplements?

Steph, thanks!! We eat whatever the hell we want. Lol. Seriously. Breakfast for my wife is usually cottage cheese. She loves it. I hate it. Lol. I usually poach an egg. Lunch, we usually share a lean cuisine. Snack is usually cheese. I love cheese. We also have one protein shake a day. We also eat hummus or guacamole with pita chips. Dinner is something fast since we get home late from work. Usually a 1/2 sandwich. We snack on sweets and carbs and I sure partake in booze. Lol. Vitamins are nothing special. We take a multi vitamin and biotin every day. We walk laps around our neighborhood at night and hope to hit the gym next month. Our work schedules are changing effective April 1st and that will allow us more time to work out at the gym.

That's us in a nutshell. Lol

What?!?!? You know what? the first 7 weeks or so I was religious with logging my food, following the cals, eating my protein. I finally got bored and started snacking here and there on the inappropriate and I feel way better and am not losing/gaining any different than before. I may live to regret it but it seems the key is all things in moderation.

Exactly Steph. Moderation has always been the key, just with our larger stomachs - we were unable to follow that. Our goal at this point is to lose 10 lbs a month. This isn't a race and I refuse to spend my life counting and obsessing.

I am so in love with my husband and love it when I see another couple in love. Doing this together helps both of you and will allow you both to have many happy years together.

Steph, I'm having issues with lumps on my lymph nodes and the doctors have no idea what it is. I have a blood disorder - that is a cousin to sickle cell anemia, so having an auto immune disorder leaves me open to all kinds of things. Best case scenario its a serious infection. Worst case is lymphoma. I meet with a specialist this Wednesday and will hopefully be led in the right direction to find out what the hell it is. Cross your fingers and toes for me. My last few YouTube vids were about it - if you ever wanna check them out.
