Anyone else a coffee drinker?

Im 7 days post surgery and love my coffee, however Im advised to have only decaffinated or herbal tea. Im quite sure I can do without the caffein from coffee but I miss its robust flavor and the smell. Does anyone have any thoughts on if it is ok to have decaf coffee? And if so how soon were you able to enjoy it?

Coffee and tea are my enjoyable pleasure. So I ordered Click protein at clickprotein.com It's espresso protein powder and it's YUMMO., Comes in a few flavors but I got mocha and vanilla lattee......You will so love them if you are a coffee addict like me. Get the sample pack just to try just in case you don't like it BUT you will...ENJOY MY TEA FAV is Green tea with passion fruit, YUMMO stay away from aspertame laden products they are harmful to your body. Try and go natural or nothing at all..Its best

Yes I am a coffee drinker, have slowly reduced my coffee and now drink more herbal fruit teas. I will have coffee later following sleeve but plan to leave it for about 8 weeks before I have my first coffee/cappucino. It will be worth it.

Well I am a coffee drinker and for some reason coffee goes down easily compared to water, but I was told by doc that the caffiene can be an appetite stimulant so the best is caffiene free, no sugar, oh and they also mentioned something about it making it harder to consume your water intake that it doesn't help with fluid absorbtion for some reason.

I'm 3 months out and just started drinking regular coffee again. I hated decaf but my stomach couldn't handle regular until the last couple of weeks. I'm drinking it black and I'm still getting my water in but with coffee I'm getting more fluids in.

My doctor gave me the go ahead at my three week visit. I still can't drink a whole small cup yet. But at least I know I can if I choose to.

I'm back to drinking coffee again. I got the go ahead at a month post-op but didn't feel like it until about 7 weeks post op. Now I have a cup (with creamer) every morning.

I was given the option to have a cup of coffee when i woke up from my surgery, i had a cup of tea instead. Coffee's fine, if you want it have it.x

Y'all are so lucky! I was a 2 pot-a-day girl before surgery and drank it black at that. Now I cant stand the taste! I have even tried it with Splenda and cream and still dont like it. I miss it! LOL

I got the go ahead to have coffee (and not decaf) from my Dr, on Tues. at my 1 week follow up. I was thrilled, that afternoon I went to Tim Hortons and ordered a small decaf. It took me 2 days to drink it but for now Im satisfied!

Anyone mix protein into their coffee? I love iced coffee and add a 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein. Yummmmmmmm
