1st day home after surgery

Ok, I'm getting closer to my date and starting to get very anxious. Let me know what your 1st day home was like after surgery. When you took in the protein and what kind. How often you was able to sip liquids. Everything/details. Thanks a bunch!

my first day home was all able sleeping. I don't sleep well around beeping machines so that first day home was a sleep fest! Don't worry your about how much, just find a premade protein shake you like and sip on it until it is gone. It may take a couple of hours, don 't push it. Then drink water,sleep, then repeat. You will feel better the sooner you get moving and the sooner you get protein levels up but really, that first week, just recover, don't push it.
