Hello ...I'm new to the site

Hi everyone. I've been offered a gastric sleeve with surgery pencilled in for the 6th December. I'm really frightened and dont know whether to go through with it. Any advice for a very scared wimp ?

Hi lady! I have my first appointment and testing on Friday, so I don't have much wisdom to share with you. It was helpful to me to read all the awesome posts here before I totally made my decision. With me I know how much of my life I am missing by being so heavy and I'm sick of not truely living my life. I hope your decision comes easy for you.

Hi...I am new to this site as well. I am about 99% ready to make the move for the sleeve, but the 1% is terrified to have it done in Mexico. I would love to hear from anyone with advice. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum, both of you! Read through some of the posts to see what people who have had the sleeve experienced, and you will have a much better idea of what it's all about. You will also see that people are very candid about all sorts of issues, so don't worry about asking questions about anything dealing with the sleeve. As for me, the sleeve is the best thing I have ever done for myself.

WooHOO.....Heck yeah...best decision I ever did. Just think you have just a little or a month to get ready. You can do this..you will feel so much better. If you have any questions...lets hear them..
