I love Lose It!
I wish you luck in your fundraising!
Glad you're here! I hope you find what you need.
I've gotten myself into the habit of counting my sips whenever I drink anything. I always stop at, at most, 4.
Welcome Donna! I hope you find what you're looking for here!
Welcome! I hope you find what you're looking for here!
I had my surgery a while ago, but I was also tired at around your stage. Remember that your body is *still* healing and be kind to yourself :) Your energy will return. And it sounds like you're doing...
Sounds like that was a really tough decision for you to make. I hope that you're having success with your medically supervised program. Keep us posted!
Hi Giovanni! Welcome :)
My do recommends Celebrate chewables.
Welcome!
I got grits on my meal tray the day after surgery. They were dried out into a circular brick that didn't indent when I pressed on it. I really hope that's not how they're supposed to be served!
Welcome! This is a great site for information - you've come to the right place.
Welcome! You're about to make a big change, so being nervous is natural :)
Welcome to the site! You can read the posts in my signature to see how surgery went for me - maybe that will be helpful?
I'm having one tomorrow - thanks for the tip!
Welcome Lorie! And good luck on your revision!
Welcome to the forum! Good luck with your surgery :)
Congratulations on the weight loss and recovery!
My doctor also puts patients on gallstone meds for 6 months after surgery. I think it's called Actigall. He specifically mentioned that he does not combine gallbladder removal with VSG.
I haven't had my surgery yet, so I can't help with your question, but I just wanted to say good luck and I hope you recover quickly!
What a great update! Sounds like you're doing really well. It must be nice not to be afraid of complications from surgery anymore.
Your sleeve is small and can only fit so much food in. It might as well be food with a high nutritional value.
How exciting - good for you!!
Every doctor is different, but mine has me on 9 days of liquid diet, then 1 day of clear liquids the day before surgery. Good luck with yours!
