Hang in there. The liquids are tough, but you should really give your tummy time to heal. What type of liquids did they suggest? There's a lot of variety out there, so keep trying different items...
Congratulations! I hope the pain gets easier, and the liquids go down easier.
I have my card, but I haven't had to use it. I order from the children's menu when we do go out. It is nice to have, in case I was ever asked to see it.
Your post simply made me smile!
A good bra can make you feel like a million bucks. I went and got sized for one recently. I let the expert know my goals and she fit me in a 25 dollar bra that will last me for a long while and...
I work FT at a desk job. I had my surgery on a Tuesday, stayed overnight at hospital, went home Wednesday, worked half a day Thurdsay, and worked a full day Friday. I was home over the weekend and...
My soft foods were things like - canned tuna, canned chicken, & eggs. All of those with a little bit of mayo to "soften" them. No veggies of any type until week 5.
Sounds great. I love that I found him. I really does care and the staff at WeightWise is wonderful. My hospital stay was very short and went beautifully.
Good Luck!
Thanks for all the posts!
I guess my food restrictions are mostly my own. I have always had an issue with sweets, and crappy carbs. I'm going to use my tools the battle not only the bulge, but...
Hi Melissa4444~ cutting caffiene for me was only for a short period before surgery and then for about 2 weeks after. My personal plan provided to me by my surgeon & nutritionist advised that taking...
I was wondering if you were getting all your liquids in? The cramping/pain could stem from that a little. So much activity so soon, might be irritating your new pouch. I would slow down a little. ...
Good luck AmyLess!
Good luck to you becca72!
Hi everyone,
So I've been reading a lot of the posts out here regarding post-op diet options. Honestly, I'm a little suprised to see the vast differences from surgeon to surgeon. I was given so...
I hope you are feeling well!
Sip. Sip, Sip. getting your liquids in is most important. I was advised to get 64 oz. of sugar free, non-caffinated, non-carbonated fluids in per day. I shoot for that goal still. Best of luck!
I would suggest warm liquids. I found that they would soothe my pouch when I did begin to feel hungry. I'm not sure if you are exercising at all, but if you can move around and strech some the pain...
My doctor talks about a reboot plan, basically you fast for two weeks, and reintroduce foods like when you first had surgery.
I have to watch my electrolytes. If I let those slide, fatigue sets in. Sip some smartwater or life water zero. ;)
Have a variety of acceptable beverages for your post op. Tastes changed post op for me, so I was glad I didn't overstock on anything other than water. Best wishes on your approaching surgery! :)
Have a little faith in yourself. :) You believed in sleeve when you started the journey, the proof is in the changed lives that you read about on here. It works! Congrats on the date!
Are you taking any antacids? I'm taking Protonix. Sorry that you're having reflux. I would definitely contact your doctor, see what they say.
I'm from around the Shawnee area. Sorry for the late post, I haven't been on here in a while. :)
