Hi Marcie - Im doing well. 15 weeks out and down 56lbs. I officially hit the halfway mark! I finally have my first real complication - hair loss. And its pretty bad. Its tough to deal with mentally/emotionally so far. Starting your mornings off crying in front of the mirror does not make for a productive morning, thats for sure... I do already have some new growth though and my nutritionist said that I shouldnt expect it to last any more than another four to five week. But other than the hair loss, things are going great! How is your journey coming along?

How are things going for you? I just had my 6 month check up today. They are happy with my progress and actually think that I am not eating enough -- go figure. I am shocked that the heat doesn't bother me at all anymore. I don't perspire, even if I go for a nice long walk. Pretty cool. I hope that you are recovering very well.

I have been walking about 5 to 10 miles a day since a month out of surgery. Not hard if you go walkung arouns stores dreaming about the cute clothes you will soon fit into lol. About two weeks ago I started taking classes at the gym, only one a week. But as of today, i am going to go Mon/Wed/Fri and do the TRX system and/or spin classes. They kick my butt big time so sure they will get me looking and feeling good, harden up those thighs and upper arms!

Yes we can! I am glad she is going good. Sometimes it does help when someone else you can relate to things goes though it first... makes you less crazy! I drank my shake last night and went to bed. I wanted to walk around the hotel and get a treat but I did not do it! YEAH for me! Today I had a little challenge with a small lunch and now just dinner ... but I had a shake and just a plan salad... had a headache so I thought I may need some more to keep me going... have like two more hours tonight!

I can't believe we had 10 days. It really just want flying by. I was thinking it was going to be alone time when I first scheduled it... but it turns out to be like tomorrow!

I know I am in the same boat. I really want to have dinner tonight and just relax but I had to have a business lunch today so I only had one shake this AM. I know 10 days the real count down has begun. I am really excited... Ok if you don't eat mexican I won't order room service... deal? Have you been losing? I have stopped losing at 20 lbs... Sort of makes me sad but I just have to keep going.

Hope all is well otherwise... we can do this almost down to the single digits!!

I have to do a 2 week protien shake diet...I have been on it now for like a month. I really wanted my mind to get ready for the change so I just did it... just 24 hours of clear liquid before surgery is all he requested! I got lucky on that one.

I am getting nurvous too. I leave on Friday for a conference and dont come back until next friday. It will help getting my mind off everything. Then when I get back I will have to repack for the hospital! Sort of nice in that way!

They had a cancellation! Surgey date is set for 5/16. I start my liquid fast 5/2. I'm so nervous and excited!
