Diet a week post op/and when can I exercice

So I am a week post op and I am just about sick of pudding broth and yogurt. There must be more out there that I can have just not sure. Yesterday I made split pea soup for my family and tried a little and it hurt mu tummy so bad.
What are some things you guys have been able to eat. And its also hard to get my protein shake down. I am going to try another type tomorrow and see if that helps.
It makes it hard when I still have to cook for my family and I cant have a bite. That part

So I am 4 days post op and feeling ok, I cant tell when I should drink something. Ive been sipping on water all day but for some reason it dosent taste good anymore. And my sense of smell is going crazy. I just made my son clean out the fridge to make sure its not anything in there. He thinks im nuts....
I try not to take my meds if i can help it as they taste SOOOO bad. But if I dont the pain is bad. Does anyone know how long the gas pains last. I think those are worst then anything.

My surgery is today at 1:00.I'm exited and nervous. I have a great support team and a huge prayer chain so I know the Lord is with me and I will be fine.

I JUST FOUND OUT MY INSURANCE APPROVED ME FOR MY SURGERY. MY DOCTOR IS DOCTOR SPITZ IN SPOKANE WA. I HAVE MET WITH HIM AND HE IS GREAT,. HAS ANYONE HEARD OF HIM??
SO NOW IM JUST WAITING FOR THE OFFICE TO CALL AND SET UP MY NEXT APPOINTMENT FOR ME TO MEET WITH THE DIETICIAN.
JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MY CASE WORKER AND SHE SET A TENTATIVE DATE OF MARCH 21 FOR SURGERY!!! Yea!!!!!
ANY POINTERS WOULD BE GREAT!! THANKS TO EVERYONE ON HERE, IT HAS BEEN SUCH A GREAT
