Dr Kim and his staff have been awesome. My recovery went very well. My advice for the hospital is sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk. The nurses told me that I was walking more and drinking more than anyone else on the floor. I was, not coincidentally, the first one able to go home of those who had surgery the same day. I didn't miss a second of drinking. Even took a medicine cup of water with me when I walked so I could keep sipping. Whether hospital or home I didn't allow myself to be down more than 15 minutes then I'd get up and walk. It takes work and detrmination but you bounce back so much faster. I had my surgery on a Monday. I worked from home on Thursday and Friday and was back in the office On Monday. I'll admit by mid afternoon I was pretty wiped out but I managed. The info Dr Kim's office gives you when you take your class is pretty detailed so it should answer all your questions about eating and stuff but if I can help at all let me know.
