- I am a 32 year old working mother of two beautiful, rambunctious preschoolers. I love spending time with them and my husband. I love baking fancy cakes, reading, watching movies, and am learning to love excersise! I have been overweight for the majority of my life, as food has always been my coping mechanism. The last 6 months of prepping for this surgery have been tough and a true eye-opening experience for me. If you have any questions, drop me a line =)

A Shop-A-Holic is born!

I cannot get over how GOOD I feel. I sleep better, my joints don't hurt anymore, and just how much self confidence is starting to emerge. I had no idea how crippling my weight was to my self esteem until now. I am loosing about 2.5 pounds a week, which is right on track with what my doctor said would be normal.
I may have to get a second support group for shop-a-holicism; Ive bought earrings, necklaces, sweaters and boots in the last week while they were on sale. It was so cool
