  1. Well final hospital appointment last month, its been 2 year since i went under then knife, and what a 2 years its been, from being a terrifying 224kg weight with a bmi of over 70 to an amazing 112 kg weight with a bmi of 34, (i know its not best to go by the bmi as it doesnt indicate the mass between muscle and fat). im literally half the man i was. Now im at the part where i will be toning up my body, weight lifting for upper body strength and riding my bike everyday for lower strength. the sensation that i can nearly out chase cars is amazing get all this done before the end of april as i will be going on a holiday abroad with my girlfriend to majorca so time to get the mankini ready (hope i didnt put you off your lunch, i just couldnt resist lol) since my last holiday anywhere sunny was back in 2003 in tenerife when i started to feel the tightness in the plane seat so be nice to relax with out people staring at me. as soon as i have the right photo, i will post it on here to show you my results.

Chris - just clocked your photos. What a transformation. Congratulations.
  3. Hi everyone, Been a while since i updated my info on here, but here goes, so before i started to think of surgery i weighed 224 kg, and wore 8xl clothes. It has been a year and a half now, and i can safely say the surgery helped me alot, im now 124 kg as of this morning and into xl clothes and 44 inch trousers, a big milestone that is for me, but it proves how confident it can make you and that as long as you dont over eat after surgery, you'll do well. as a treat, last week i went to york for a week, which is funny cause i went there exactly 2 years ago when i was at my biggest, back then i took a photo of myself on a bench near the york minster, and last week i took a photo of myself at the exact same spot so here are a couple of new photos to show you what i look like

  8. Its been an interesting 4 months this year, so many good things gained and so much weight lost, from my origional weight of 35 stone last year to 27 stone now, the only big problem is buying smaller clothes hahaha. been a while since i updated on here but so far so good

Hi Chris. Yea I'm now half way unless I decide to go for more weight loss. I'll see how I get on nearer the end. Glad to hear you're doing ok still. You'll get there before you know it. The time seems to fly by now. I don't realise how quickly the weeks have gone by by since surgery. It must be as I'm not feeling as tho I'm on a diet and depriving myself or thinking about food constantly. 5lb in only a few days is brilliant. It must be falling off you

Why do you have to have an injection every 3 months. I haven't been told I have to.
You're right tho... We'll both get there

Hahaha. I bet that was a right mess. All sticky pasta stuck everywhere. I'm glad it went down and settled ok in your new super small stomach. At least you know you can tolerate it and can experiment in different sauces etc. i had a wkmd away and managed to lose 1lb. I'd have been happy just staying the same after years of putting on 4 or 5lb + in just a couple of days. I even managed to drink a couple cocktails and glasses of wine over the weekend. Keep up the brill work Chris

I can't seem to eat pasta. It doesn't sit well in my stomach. I'm still only really eating chicken, eggs, cheese, toasted bread. I can't eat normal bread or cakes. Crunchy stuff chewed properly seems ok. I was eating cheesy mash with sked besns on purée weeks. I try not to eat much potato now as I'm trying to keep the carbs low. It's good your doing so well. You'll soon be shopping in the high st. I went to London the wknd and loved shopping in river island and normal shops. I got new clothes and could have spent so much more money :/

Hi Chris. I'm doing ok still thanks. I seem to have let the habit of picking take over on a couple of occasions. I've got to make a point of not giving in to any temptations this week. I've just come back from a wknd in London. The food wasn't a problem, as I just can't eat it, but I did manage to drink a bit too much alcohol. Oh well. Back on the wagon and plan now. I'm starting to decorate tomorrow, so that will keep me busy. How's it going with you? Are you eating normal foods yet? I did have a bit of cake yesterday and felt so sick afterward. I guess that's something I won't be able to eat anymore. Not that it's a bad thing.
