Well here I am....one year post op and I can't believe how far I've come.
I saw my surgeon for a check up a few weeks ago and she's discharged me.
She said I'm where I should be at 2 years post op and I've done really well so the only follow up I have now is a yearly check with an endocrinologist to ensure I don't become deficient in any nutrients. I have my first appointment with him next month.
I've lost 133 pounds in a year, that's just under 10 stones in
Happy new year everyone!
I never thought I'd see the day but here I am 112 pounds lighter! It's so amazing and despite a few hiccups along the way, the sleeve is THE best thing I've ever done.

I went back to work last week. Just phasing in gradually over a few weeks and it's been fine so far. I do feel a bit tired in the evening though but I think
It's just me adjusting to the calories.
I know in the U.S. you go back to work much sooner but here in the U.K. They treat you as major surgery. We get pampered a bit more :-)
I feel my energy levels in general during the day are much better and it was so much easier climbing the stairs at work.
