    Hi MJ,

    I absolutely love it! I have been doing it three times per week since the beginning of January. I can tell my strength is increasing, and I get compliments on my back muscles all the time

    I did end up doing half a protein shake about 30-45 minutes before leaving and then a cup of decaf with half a banana when I get home, and a small oatmeal about an hour later.

    I am also running on my off days (so the other 4 days per week). Same eating schedule. Typically run 4-5 miles, except on Sundays is long runs of 8-12 miles depending on how close I am to my marathon. (Note: 6 months ago, I couldn't run at all and started with the Couch to 5K program, and I now do a run/walk method for anything over 5 miles of 8 minutes running and 2 minutes walking).

    I struggled with how much i would get done before hand, I am regretting not getting my thighs done also but not sure about how much scarring that would involve? I do think with the help of victoria secrets my chest looks good and really do not worry about that as much. I have to meet doctor in two weeks for follow up and I probably will ask about pricing and scarring for thigh lift. I never took pictures of my stomach before hand but he did and I would like to get copies from him to i could post before and after pics because the difference is so significant I know it was only 5 lbs but 5 lbs of skin is a huge amount and i went down from a size 6 to a size 4 and i still have swelling so it could be a size 2 before i am thru

    I have my first follow up appt. on the 22. I am doing well and have figured out that I need to take the Omniprazole about 3 in the afternoon and that has seemed to relieve my issues I was having. Building lean muscle is just as important as cardio. Have you used resistant bands?
    The study program I am in is a study that Dr. R. is doing on metabolism. It is a double blind study where he compares the use of a stimulant 5 wks out (I think) vs when he usually will give the med. I cant remember when he usually gives it but anyway I had to have a Resting Metabolism test done the wk. before my surgery. It measures how many calories your body builds at rest. Only took about 15 mins to do. There will be two more of the tests done down the road.
    I can't wait to eat a lil something other than the liquids. I have been buying the soups that come in the box and have 1 cup of soup with 1 cup of Greek yogurt added to soup for the creaminess. I stopped at Trader Joes and picked up a can of crab meat, some pesto, gluten free shredded cheese and some more yogurt. Sheesh, I have never eaten so much Greek yogurt as I have these past days! I start back to work Sunday so am going to start my purred food on Sat. Want to make sure I don't have any issues with purred before getting back to work.

    I can understand why you would want a nap every afternoon!!! You have kids at home! LOL. I am in Dr. R's study program studying metabolism and how are bodies burn calories. I didn't know that we see Dr. P at a year out! I think you have done amazing!!! 150 lbs in a year?!?!!!! That is sooo awesome! Looking forward to hearing how the appt. with Dr. R goes today!

I stumbled across this woman's journey and how as an artist she captured so many emotions I am sure every one of us here has felt during some point in our own lives, our own journeys.

Lower Body Lift,

Still waiting.
I know I said I would keep updates on my lower body lift. Unfortunately there has not been any new updates.
I am not sure what it is up with my luck,
but the day before I was to check in for surgery, the surgeon called and had to cancel my surgery date due to an emergency.
We rescheduled for Sept 21st. I have not been on here due to having to reschedule my entire plans for childcare, petcare, work, and everything else I had already arranged for in

Excitement is building!

Hi Everyone.
I hope everyone is doing great. It has been awhile since I have got to chat with some of you and read the new posts. It has been a busy summer

I wanted to share the latest. I am 9 pounds away from losing a total of 200lbs.
I am so happy with how the last couple years have been going.
I am also going to a family reunion today. A lot of this side of my family have not seen me since I weighed 350 pounds. So you all can imagine the questions.

Getting so close.

Here I am, getting so close to my goal weight.
It feels unreal to me. I have lost a total of 185 pounds. It feels great, and I am in good health.
In 3 more months I will be having my belt lipectomy. I am hoping to be at my goal by then.
All of my Doctors have gave me the green to start my PS journey. I am going to have multiple procedures for different areas at different times.
I am excited, and nervous.The healing process seems really intense. I hope I can handle

Half my body weight

Feeling great!

On Valentine's Day I weighed myself and am so very happy to announce that I am half the person I was at my heaviest. I have gone from 352 to 176 pounds.
I am so excited and proud of myself.

It has been hard at times. I am not perfect. I make plenty of mistakes. I have binged more times then I should have on things that I should not be within ten feet of.
However I pick myself and try harder.
