Just checking on you, remember to take Listerine strips and gas x with you in the hospitals cuz your breathe is going to be slightly offensive. I got gas when they removed the drainage tube

Congrats on your up and coming surgery, and congrats again on your nsv and stay committed to the cause.

I'm supposed to have 3 protein shakes per day and one meal that consists of about 4oz lean protein, veggies, salad, and two servings of complex carbs. I can have raw veggies all day long, one non-fat yogurt, and only one piece of fruit. It's not that bad considering other pre-op diets. My nutritionist says that they recommend this modified diet as it is easier to not cheat and still has the same benefit prior to surgery. I'm having difficulty even with this modified version. But, I'm determined to make it at least 7 days without cheating. I'm having my surgery with Dr. Bagloo at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Dr. Bagloo also operates out of Columbia Presbyterian in the city. Where are you having your surgery?

Hi! Welcome...I see that your surgery is one day after mine and we're not too far from each other. I'm from right over the GWB in Fort Lee, NJ! I see that you're on your pre-surgery diet right now. I am too but I'm not doing that well... I hope you continue to do well...let's keep each other posted on our progress!

EGV -Actor, Welcome to our July group. My surgery is the day before your down in Tijuana and I am super excited. I don't think it's really hit me yet what I am about to do...I think that will it will on the 12th which is the first day of my liquid diet. If you need anything answered, or just want to sound off, please do, we are a very supportive and informative bunch!! I know it's is scary, but just keep your eyes on the healthier, thinner you waiting and cheering at the end!!!! Best Wishes!
