About the ex... yep, sounds like it's a good thing that he is an EX I'm glad you have someone in your corner now! My family and husband have been awesome, thank God. THANK YOU for the info on the preop from your surgeon's perspective. That helps me a ton. I've definitely been good, but certainly not perfect! Everything will work out just fine and you and I will be feeling 100% better six months from now. REALLY excited about that.

Are you self-pay? That stinks if so! I have a $1000 deductible (after the surgery they'll send me a bill). Thank God for good health insurance.

I'm doing well (except that I sure as heck did not eat/drink like a pre-opper yesterday). It just dawned on me that I haven't had my pre-op and no one has scheduled one so I emailed the surgeon yesterday to see what the heck is going on with that. Do you have all your supplies laid in? I have a big shopping list for this weekend and I've been trying a bunch of different proteins/drinks. I like the fruit flavored ready to drink Isopure. I'm hoping that and the premixed shakes I like will work for me. Thanks for checking in!

I was on clear liquids for a week, full liquids for another week, puree'd foods for a week, soft foods for a week and then slowly moved on to regular foods while still including the previous foods into my daily food intake. Just don't get ahead of yourself. Take small sips and then small bites. Don't be in a big hurry to eat whatever you want.

Keep a positive attitude and you will do great!
