I was sleeved on Friday and home Saturday. During the surgery my spleen tore open. My surgeon said it was "soft and boggy". I lost 1300 mls of blood and had to be given 1 Unit of blood, a plasma expander and 4 liters of fluid. Now I have to follow up on why my dpleen was in gnis condition. Anyone else have a problem like this? I appreciate any input!

Hi! I'm feeling pretty good. Everyday got better though the first week was rough. I have bad arthritis in my knees so I've had to deal with that. It's prevented me from doing the exercising I want to do but I'll get there! I'm on pureed foods now until Thursday. It's been interesting learning a new way of eating. I find my new stomach fills up and stay filled for several hours. I've never actually felt hungry so far. I have to remember to eat!

I see you have your surgery date. Are you excited or nervous? I just couldn't wait to get to the "other" side! haha
