Life after the sleeve and having 2 babies in the house has been hard. I have a hard time finding time to eat and exercise has not happened. I still get a lot of pain in my stomach between meals. 80 mg of nexium and now I take Carafate as well but it is not really helping. But the weight is coming off. I'm down 42lbs total. Not that anyone noticed. but I suppose when I get below 200 lbs it will be more dramatic. Anyway I am grateful for the weight loss but I do wish I had time to exercise because

I haven't posted for awhile. My husband and I have been blessed to be able to adopt our adopted son's biological baby sister. This came as a complete surprise to us and the last month has been a whirlwind. We are now home and trying to acclimate to being a family of four.
While I continue to lose weight slowly, I have not been exercising. I now have 2 babies (1year old and newborn) that need my constant attention. Eat slowly over 30 minutes time...ha ha, eat in a relaxed environment...what

The food is going down so much better now. I can actually eat a whole egg with FF cheese, a fork full of lo mien noodles some baby shrimp, few slivers of chicken and it all goes down pretty well.
I have been getting a frequent gnawing feeling in my stomach between meals and they have put me on and increased my nexium but it hasn't seemed to help. I have a follow up with the surgeon Monday but he said he doesn't know what could be causing that pain. Any suggestion on what it could

Per my surgeon I apparently swallow a lot of air. I noticed my stomach doesn't hurt nor do I regurgitate if I'm able to burp during my meal. I don't know why I swallow so much air. I try to eat slowly and I don't use a straw when drinking but I guess may be it's just habit.
On a positive note I made a soft scrambled egg this AM with a slice of fat free cheese and I almost could eat the whole thing and it felt good. I noticed when I walked away from the table I felt pretty full so

I should be able to tolerate more and more as time goes on but the opposite is happening. This morning I had 1/2 of a one egg and goat cheese omelet. That went down Ok, some stomach spasms and a lot of burping and threatening to regurgitated. This afternoon I went to have the second 1/2 of the omelet but it gets dried out in the microwave so I chopped it up and mixed it in 1 oz of thinned out, pureed black bean soup. Sounds gross but if you ever had breakfast in New Mexico not so far fetched. Well
