Melinda, I had my surgery on the 9th. I never really loved any of the protein shakes Pre op except Syntrac Nectar pink grapefruit. However, now I can hardly stand to bring them to my lips! I have decided to daringly mostly homemade broth with 1 scoop of Nectar unflavored (only 10 g per scoop). I used to use 2 scoops in about 16 oz of broth. So I have to drink more to get the protein in. I also plan to buy some SF syrups to add to some of the shakes. I bought a ton before surgery because I liked them then or on recommendations of others. I refuse to put more money into more drinks that I hate. I will just stick to broth and drinks like Crystal light with unflavored protein until I can go to Pureed foods. Good luck!
