It's strange that u haven't seen the surgeon , because at the end of the day it's up to the surgeon to agree that u require the surgery... Have u tried googling him to see what he is like ??? .. When I decided on my surgeon, I found out he operated out of 2 hospitals greenslopes private and John Flynn at Tugan on The Gold Coast... He was 3000 cheaper at greenslopes ... When r u booked in ???

. I haven't even met him yet. I've had all communications with the Nurse - who is great. So there's a part of me that is still nervous that something might come up that puts a halt on things... I'm trying not to think that way!

Have been having a real hard time... Still got this chest pain...I get 3teaspoons of food in then can't eat anymore due to pains...
2 weeks ago was in panic mode thinking I had a leak....I lost my mum ....life sucks right about now... Really regretting getting the sleeve...

How r u going??? What's new with u??? R u happy with ur progress so far???

I go back to my surgeon this week so I'm hoping he will have answers for me regarding check pain....

How r u? I have been looking for you on the forum. Are you feeling better? What's going on with you? I am on vacationwith my hubby and friends in Monterey, CA for 10 days. I just thought I would check in with you. I'm having a hard time getting in all my liquids and protein daily-to much going on.....it is something to learn and work out. Post when you can and know that I am thinking of you and hoping you are well.

Couldnt have anything to drink until after barium swallow on Monday morning.... I'm currently on 50-60mls of fluid until Friday next week then I move to puréed foods... So finding it hard to get water in and protein...topping 600ml fluid per day....it's not much but I'm keeping on top of it...watching the clock like a hawk.... I can't tolerate dairy as so as I have it I'm on the loo.... So have to put lacteeze in my milk, yoghurt etc...

How r things with u going?????
R u tolerating normal food yet????

I lost 10kgs pre op... hopped on scales at drs yesterday and was down 2kg....he said my loss will be between .5 - 1kg per week...

I'm doing ok... My 1st post op day was crappy... But every day from then is improving... I have this horrible pain in my diaphram when I drink.... I also ended up with a blood clot in my vien from where the IV port was so I'm on antibiotics to clear that up... Went back to my surgery yesterday and he re assured me that it wasn't a dangerous blood clot.... Still ave my stiff neck as no one will massage it due to me have major surgery.... My surgery was telling me he had to perform an emergency op on another drs sleeve patient on Thursday nite due to a leak... He had his op last week and was told to eat normally.....other patient weighing 250kg was released after 24hrs and told to have puréed food... I was nil by mouth for 3 days...

Thanks everyone... Feeling better... Have sore neck at the moment at that pain is worse then the op...go figure... Hope everyone is doing well
