I was busy this morning with post op follow-ups and everything went well. I've done so good on the liquids that I was told that I could began the puree stage today instead of Wednesday! Yeah!!!!!!! My appt. with the dieticican took the longest because he reiterated some strong points to make sure I continue to stay on track. I've lost 24 lbs. since my surgery and I asked him if this was too much too soon. His reply was, "No, that's normal."

Well, to all who have read my story, it was a go on the 9th and I had my sleeve. It's official, I am now a sleever for life! I was able to walk the second day and the barrium study was not bad. Once I got up, I made myself get up periodically in order to get my walking in. I felt so much better after walking. The first night I was nauseated from the pain meds but all I could remember was, "It's going to get better", and once they changed my meds, the nausea ceased and it did get better.
