Hi, Just wanted to say that it is now three years since I had my sleeve and it was the best thing I have ever done!! I lost 70lbs (within a few months) and my BMI is now 22. (I am only 5ft 2inches so 70lb was a lot to lose for me) I feel absolutley fantastic, I love wearing nice cloths that I know will fit from one year to the next. I am 60 next year but now feel that I look years younger. It was the best money I have ever spent!!
I just want to encourage anyone who is thinking about having

Well today is my 20 week anniversary and I have lost a grand total of 60lbs (4st 4lbs for us English). I know others have lost a great deal more, but I am so happy with this. I am now a normal BMI, I feel great and it's the best feeling ever. I still have another 10lbs or so to go according to my bariatric nurse, but that's so achievable now. I am going on a mini cruise in 2 weeks on the Queen Mary 2 Ship and I will feel like a queen myself in my posh frocks that fit perfectly!!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and enjoying your weightloss journey. I just wanted to let you know that I have found a book on Amazon books which I have downloaded to my Kindle called "The Sleeved Life: A Patient-to-Patient Guide on Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy Weight Loss Surgery" by Pennie Nicola. Eventhough I found this after my surgery I still feel it is relevant to me. The book gives a good insight into why she choose the Sleeve and even though I have not finished reading it

Hi to all you pre and post surgery sleevers. Just wanted to let you know how I'm doing 7 weeks post surgery. I've lost 39lb since pre surgrery diet/surgery and I am feeling great. I have enjoyed going through the fluid, pureed and mashed up phases of the diet and I am now trying 'normal' foods to see how I tolerate them. I am feeling absolutely great and have no regrets about the surgery. I paid for the surgery myself and I do not regret one penny or cent!! I am a lot happier in myself and my

Hi, I am now 9 days post surgery, feeling great, no pain and I am tolerating my fluids well and I have not been sick. I have to continue on fluids for another 2 -3 weeks - no problem there!! The problem is that my husband says that I now have bad breath!! The last time he complained about this was when I was on the Atkins diet. I am brushing my teeth regularly and using mouth wash, What else can I do?? I cannot suck mints or chew chewing gum. Is any one else having this trouble?? If so how
