Thanks for the welcome. I see you had your sleeve two days before me. I have found the walking to be extremely helpful. I can't walk far, but just doing it makes me feel better. Continued luck to you.
  3. I finally made it to my own bed last night. I know what you mean about being full so fast. I don't get cottage cheese until Wednesday> My next phase is pureed food. I cannot wait!! Keep up the good work, glad you are back in your bed also..

I had to chuckle when you mentioned sleeping in your own bed! I, too, have been sleeping in the recliner but my surgeon took out my drain yesterday (1 week from surgery) and I slept in my bed last night...yeah! He also put me on full liquids and I am enjoying the pudding, cottage cheese, creamed soup, etc. It still amazes me that I am full after 1 1/2 to 2 ounces. Continued best wishes & keep walking!
  5. Thanks, I am doing well. Went outside and took a nice walk today. That really helped my mood. Doing OK at getting down the liquids, I am having to learn to slow down and to feel when I am full. Getting better everyday, I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed, instead of this recliner, but can't seem to lie flat. Hope you have a wonderful NEW YEAR!

Wondering how you're getting along. I had my surgery the same day as yours and I am doing well keeping the liquids down etc. but today was sort of an emotionally up & down day...nothing in particular, just felt that the emotions were very on the surface. Each day will be better for us and one of these days, we will be able to do all of the things that we can't do now! Best wishes for a WONDERFUL new year!
  7. Thanks everyone. I am slowly getting around. My husband is the best.
