So, I am almost 2 years out and soooo many things have changed. I use to lean and rely on this site for everything. For those who are new, use it. We are all here to help you thru it. I don't log on that much anymore, but you will find that you can handle the aftermath of the surgery a lot better the further out you get.
I am currently down 102 lbs and it feels very good. I became an advocate for working out, so much so that all of my kids now do it.

So it has been a while since I have posted anything. Its funny how your life changes when you start losing weight. Not only physically but mentally as well.
I am able to do more than I ever have before.
We just got back from a camping trip and we went kayaking and playing volleyball, fishing, dancing etc. Had the best time.
My journey has been slow and arduous. Every time I get a head I hit a stall. I'm really use to them now, but getting to my goal weight before

Happy Holidays pre and post sleevers.
I know it's been awhile since I have given an update, but with the holidays its been really cray cray.
First, as some of you know I had to go in and have a procedure a while back because I had stricture. Well its back! The surgeon is going to go in again and widen it bigger this time.
Last time I was nervous because I had never been through this before and I didn't know what to expect.
This time, I am apprehensive

I am almost 16 weeks post op and on Saturday I participated in my 1st 5K with my 16 year old daughter.
It was awesome. I was lapping her telling her to keep up. LOL.
My daughters whole life I was over weight. I never thought I would be in a place that I would be able to participate in a 5K with her and not be winded let alone finish! (in the middle of the pack).
It was great! I think she was happier than I was. I cant wait to experience more first
