So I was called by the surgical coordinator yesterday telling me I was approved by my insurance to get the Gastric Sleeve; now the nerves are kicking in!!Now all I can think about is dying and leaving my 19 month old without a mother...anyone else get these vivid thoughts?

I cried when I got my letter and then starting hyperventilating! I went through all the happy thoughts & the scary thoughts up until they knocked me out. Just remember why you wanted to do this & that doing this will give you more time with your precious daughter. Just keep positive thoughts. I am sure you will be just fine =)

Thanks everyone, I'm glad I am not the only one with these thoughts! It's literally consuming me!! :-/ I am trying to just remember that this is the best thing for my daughter, I will be a better mom after this is over!
Google is the devil though! LOL, all I read online is about pulmonary embolisms and death, I really need to stop looking and just stay positive! 28 days!! Ugh!!!!!!!! LOL.
