Gout

Does, or has anyone had Gout? If so how has weight loss affected your gout? Were you able to stop taking the medicine for gout? I have gout in both of my feet and sometimes in my elbows and shoulders. At this point, I have not been able to do exercise with any kind of impact on my feet and I feel that this is something that has contributed to my weight. If anyone has had any dealing with gout and weightloss I would love to hear any advise or comments. Thanks

HI Kevin, I have had high uric acid levels over the years, which apparently is what causes some form of gout, although it affected all my joints and was terrible.
I had to cut down on meat, tomatos and spinach and of all things mushrooms, which I love and they grow freely in my horses paddock.
