Non Scale Victories - NSV - post em here!

My hubby and I went to an older theater with narrow seats and I was comfortable! I always hated that theater, but now my legs aren't numb when I get up!
My hubby said I'm looking younger these days
I feel like I'm wearing someone else's clothes...they are so loose!

I started school today and just for fun I sat in one of those regular classroom desk and I fit!!!! and I was comfortable!!!!

As of yesterday, I'm now wearing size 18...down from 22 only a month ago!! I was trying on clothes and hubby called me skinny! Feels so good!

Hey, let's open this back up - it's winter doldrum time and we need some pick me ups!

My (hopeful) NSV - I bought tickets for Celtic Woman for me and my daughter for 3/16 and I can't wait to see how I fit in the seats, something I never thought I'd say - concerts are a big reason for me keeping on track... this Friday I buy tix for Chicago/Doobie Brothers Concert at Meadowbrook in NH - I've never been able to sit in the seats there, only on the lawn

Oh, and I ordered jeans in my goal size, which is now just 2 jean sizes away

Yesterday, I had my yoga pants and sweat shirt on because I was exercising earlier and the bus with my 3 toddlers came. So, I changed my shoes and ran up the hill to meet my bus. When I realized my pants were falling down fast. I don't think the kids saw, but the bus driver may have ( Did I detect a blush and a little giggle?).

I'm up and getting ready for work this morning....the NEW outfit I bought is too big! Yay!! I also hit that 40 lb mark this morning

Several NSVs lately!

- LOVE getting jeans out of the dryer and being able to slip them on, not squeezing into them.
- have retired several "old faithful" outfits that just are too large
- My tankinis are actually covering my belly!
- both my engagement ring and wedding band (along with all of my other rings) are too big
- my sandals are fitting better now
- Co-workers are starting to finally notice a change
- My Father-in-Law made a comment about how great I am looking! (That meant a lot to me!)

Okay, this one is related to scales... after 3 years, I finally weigh less than Hubby again!

Went to see Celtic Woman at the arena, took off my coat, held my breath and slid into the seat with wiggle room to spare! My hips were actually not squeezed in, my legs didn't go numb and I didn't feel like I was taking up a seat and a half. My daughter gave me a huge hug as I was almost bouncing up and down, saying "I fit, I fit".... I cried through the first song I was so happy... then I cried some more because Celtic Woman's music is so darned lovely

Time to haunt out some local theater groups and get some cheap seats so we can see lots of theater! Now to drop the rest of this weight so I can go be comfortable in Broadway seats, which are 3" smaller!

I have been stalled out for 2 weeks...even gained 2 lbs at one point. I have been somewhat discouraged. I hadn't taken my measurements in 3 weeks, and hubby reminded me to keep up my log even though I'm not losing. In those 3 wks I've lost 2" on my waist! When I first started this journey, My bust and waist were the same size and my hips were 10" bigger. I was a huge pear. Now, my waist is smaller than breast and hips. I have an hourglass figure for the first time in a looong time

I hear you... I go straight for the 3/4x size and then stop myself while looking through the racks. Old habits...

At 135lbs I STILL go for the back of the rack. My head hasn't quite caught up with my weight loss.

I sit cross legged in my chair at work... it's the most comfortable now AND my legs do NOT fall asleep!
I can see THROUGH my thighs in a normal stance! My thighs no longer touch each other!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR SUMMER!!!!
I hold up size 6 pants from my closet and think... there's no way... and then they slid right on!
Hubby thought my "boy short" underwear was his teenage son's underwear left behind from his last visit to see us!
