Red face Fun under the covers?!

Okay so I haven't seen this one yet maybe I missed it some where. Buuuuuuuut, ummmmmmm how soon can fun under the covers begin after surgery? I really hope not to offend anyone. But seriously when? I hear everyone is up and moving almost immediately after surgery, so I'm curious so that I can give my hubby something more to look forward to.

I guess it depends on what you are planning to do under the covers. Make model aircraft? Not to be recommended. The fumes from the adhesive will knock you out. (g)

Well, that probably varies from person-to-person. Probably a couple of weeks, or as soon as you're "up" to it!LOL

My doc said 2 weeks and at the 2 week point I was fine. Listen to your body and don't push yourself. No swinging from the chandelier until at least week 3! LOL

Thanks for the feedback! It didn't occur to me to look on other sites. Plus I though others might get a little giggle out of the question. Funny others are worried about vitamins, proteins & I am am worried about sex. Always one in the bunch, Right! Again thanks for the feedback!

Oh, I was worried about this too but it was one of the first questions I asked my surgeon. ::big grin:: 2 weeks is about right for the average sleever and was the time in my post-op instructions. Worked for me and that timed perfectly with a crazy hormone boost for me thanks to a 20 pound weight drop. I think hubby and I were up to 3X's a day for several days until I wore my husband out. lol Must have been the two weeks without and we were making up for lost time. =)

It may seem like an eternity, but wait about 2 weeks. If you can't wait, try several positions where he is nowhere near your incisions....get creative!!
