responses to questions are great but I wish the thanks post could be removed

not to sound mean or anything,but I don't feel I have to be thanked when someone reads something I wrote and what I read, and my email gets cluttered with thank posts...........I like reply's but that thanks thing has got to go,no offense to anyone else who likes it,it's just the way i feel.........

That was so close, I almost did it to you Jersey.oops! I would have to be the best at doing it as I thank everyone cos I don't want anyone to feel left out.
How about a "hug" button instead.I won't thank you anymore, but just know I do..... you know what I mean?!!!!!

I think there's an option you can select to stop receiving email notifications. You can try that.

Scroll down to where it says:
"Thanks notifications"
"Do you want to be notified when someone says "Thanks" on a post of yours?"
and change it from
"Yes, Please"
to
"No, Thanks"
