I'm LOVIN' it! OK, Mr. Activities Director, what do you say to a Texas Hold 'Em Tournament? Hmmm? Also, how about our very own fashion show? We may need to book a meeting room at the hotel for the latter, and there would be a fee for that (so we could have a cover charge) but I think we could do it! Also, just a thought, since that "other" convention is happening over at Bally's, how about we book a van or bus to take us over there for one of their activities? I think they are offering a line dancing night for all the newly slender and active people coming to that meeting. Since they're in town as well, we can crash their party...we will fit right in with all those other surgically-altered, healthy lifestyle folks! (By the way, for those who don't know it, I'm actually an Events Manager in my real life...so I have lots of ideas and lots of resources...but that aside, I am happy that Michelle and Jersey John are doing the planning. This is going to be a weekend off for me! (but I'll help if you guys need me)

Carolyn, the "Other Convention" is the Weight Loss Surgery Foundation of America. They have quite a program going on over at Ballys during the same weekend: Weight Loss Surgery Foundation of America | 2012 Hotel Room and Event Tickets

If anyone knows any of their exhibitors, we should try to get some guest passes to their exhibit hall...I'm just saying. I don't really want to pay the $170 entry fee to attend their entire program, although some of it seems quite interesting.
