Default Taking Care of Ourselves, inexpensive fix

Hello Sleeve family--- As most of you know I was in IA for vacation. While I was there and I would take a shower after my mom there was ALWAYS tons of suds in the tub---My thought was, gosh, my mom is older--I wonder if she is not rinsing well after she soaps up. Welllllll----I finally just said, "Mom, why is there so many suds in the tub after you shower? I am concerned that you are not getting rinsed enough and going to slip and fall." She said, "OH NO CONNIE---I have one of that mat in there so I don't slip, but the reason there are suds in there is because when I take my shower I put Avon Bubble Bath in the tub and close the trap. That keeps my feet soft and from cracking. In the summer I go bare foot and it makes the green from the grass just come right off. It also helps keep the tub easier to clean." For those of us who don't always take the time to go get a pedi---this is a great way to keep heels and soles soft and not cracking. I thought it was a cool idea and wanted to share with everyone, especially since I can see my feet now!!!!!!!!!
    Hugs and blessings- Connie

    Love it!!

That Avon bubble bath is also excellent for getting stains out of the carpet, FYI. Leaves a nice smell in the room, too!

Good to know! I hate mani/pedis, contrary to a lot of women. Don't get tickled/dislike people touching my feet, but just dislike the whole "person in subservient position washing my feet even though I am paying them" thing. And I don't like getting my toenails painted. Used to, not sure why now...

Connie, love that you can see your feet and isn't it easier to bend down to wash them too? Thanks for the tip!

Brilliant! I have a girl at work that sells Avon and I just emailed her
We can reverse years of damage to our bodies by deciding to raise our standards for ourselves, then living differently. Old wounds heal, injuries repair, and the whole system improves with just a few changes in what we put into our bodies and how we move them.
