Estimated numbers for Vegas trip

I agree that the estimate for Vegas is high. Reason that could be is because right after Halloween... what happened to not doing it around a holiday/during the week? $300... I should be in the Wynn with food included! lol!

I talked to the travel agent and she said that the hotel was newly renovated on the strip and meet a lot of our needs but if price is an issue she will look into another one. I told her many people are complaining it is too high. She said she had thought after losing so much weight and celebrating your overall weight loss she thought we all would want to do it in style. But if price is that much of an issue than she will look into something else. With all the complaints I read I will be quite upset if she does all this and only 4 people show. So please be a serious inquiry if your going to have her go out the way, I don't want to hear it was too high etc. so I didn't go you have over one year and it is 25.00 a month if you sum it up. We may be off the strip so people can get a cheaper price but NO ONE should mind walking some. I am going to talk to her. Also if you have some ideas let me know as far as hotel then i can run them by her.

Hi. I had mentioned before that I would help plan it. I don't know if the rates are high because she needs to make her cut. But November is off season. Rates are MUCH LOWER. When I looked at rates it was $20-$45 mid week. Weekends were like $80 and up. That was for anything on Fremont street, Circus Circus, Harrah's. Belagio was like $89. Was the majority wanting to do a weekend or is mid-week an option??? Also...to get good rates it might be a tad too early to make reservations. Let me know how I can help.

My name is Cathlyn and I am the travel agent working on the Weight Loss Reunion for 2013 in Vegas. I recommended the Tropicana because it is on the strip, it is a good price and it has lots of amenites that will make your stay and reunion more memorable. The Tropicana is a walk away from the MGM Grand, Monte Carlo and New York, New York. The Tropicana itself has a spa, fitness center, four restaurants, shopping and has just been newly renovated so all the rooms have been updated with the newest additions.

As far as pricing, there are rates that that are cheaper during the week because it is not the most popular time to go. Weekends do price out more and that is the same for all hotels in Vegas. As a travel agent, my clients do not pay me to book their stays. I am paid directly by the vendor. The price would be the same whether or not I make the reservation. The added benefit of using a travel agent is that I will let you know if there are any changes to your reservation and I will ensure you peace of mind.

As it was mentioned before, this will be a time of celebration. Pounds lost, years of struggle, dedication and effort. Let's celebrate in style! The reunion is scheduled over a year from now, so it will give everyone time to make payments and plan the perfect reunion.
