Vegas in May???

What 3 day weekend are you thinking? Memorial Day weekend would be perfect for me. I have never been to Vegas, so is that weekend a bad one for being way to crowded???

That sounds like so much fun!! I will be 5 months post-op at that time and won't be embarrassed to lounge around the pool in my string bikini...LMAO Seriously, if possible, I would LOVE to meet my fellow sleevers in May....it's a definate maybe.

WOW, what an amazing amount of interest! So I was thinking 18/19/20 of May. Memorial day is the following weekend and 1) I think it would be overcrowded and 2) flights etc would be inflated due to the holiday weekend. We could get a group discount on hotel and probably on other things too like shows. As for food, lol, we would all share like 3 meals between about 20 of us.

I would be interested if I could arrange some time off at work! Just keep us informed and let's see what happens. I love the part about "sharing food". I was thinking the same thing and another thing would be we won't need belt extenders on the plane and our butts won't spread into another seat... WoW, how exciting would that all be.

OK PEOPLE!!! This is like herding cats---someone step to the plate and take charge---set a date, check out the hotel/motels, --- I am way excited to join in the fun but not willing to be the in charge or go to girl. I have to believe that there is SOMEONE on this forum that is involved with some type of travel agency---(IF we were putting in a telephone system or something, I would do it---but we are not)---a thought just came to me---do you think the weekend AFTER OR BEFORE the big holiday weekend would be good? I mean, the hotel/motels might be looking to fill their rooms---just a thought. Okay...my mom passed her travel agency on to a first cousin of mine in town who could handle this.....However, she is getting married next Friday so the ball would have to not start rolling until she gets home from her honeymoon in December.

I agree with Michelle, the weekend of the 19th, a week before the holiday weekend. My birthday is the 5th, Cinquo De Mayo is Spanish for Jersey's birthday......;P

Travel is in the family....I suggest we stay on the strip with a deal from a travel wholesaler...we use Apple tours/GoGo Tours. As long as there is a happening pool for me to wear my mirrored sunglasses to enjoy all the bikinis....
