Oh...my...word. If I didn't have so many freaking stitches and staples in my stomach I might have enjoyed the laugh your post brought a little more.
Weight loss can cause a boost in confidence and a decrease in inhibitions that could lead a person to act on instinct and desires that were already there. There is no surgery that can make a person gay.
I completely agree that people are born gay, and no surgery, book, amount of gay exposure, etc can turn a person gay. Having said that though, I do think that the surgery can indirectly alter our femininity and masculinity. And - I think that is, for the most part, because of hormonal changes. For example, I've noticed since the surgery that I have become more "girly". I've never been a real girly girl (I've never been a tom-boy either... always somewhere in between), but as I get more post-op time behind me, I find myself becoming more feminine. At first, I figured it was gaining confidence and comfort with a womanly appearance, but I realized it goes deeper than that. The way I actually process information, think about things, and react to things seems to be more feminine. Maybe it's because I'm producing less testosterone and more estrogen as the weight comes off and my hormones are becoming more balanced? And by that logic, maybe men will become more masculine?
Just my two cents...
I'm trying to picture the conversation with my husband. "I'm so sorry hun, I done caught the gay."
On the bright side I've always said what I need is a good wife. No more laundry for me
John, I would most def talk to the host of this forum...perhaps your in box crashed from the sheer volume.
God gave us people to love and things to use, not things to love and people to use.
