6 weeks out and I can eat anything?

I've heard of people having issues with eating certain foods, and not being able to have more than 4oz of food?

My surgery was 6 weeks ago. Today (I was working) I ate a vegimite scroll for lunch, and i just had a 300g (10oz) chicken and veg soup for dinner.

Is it okay to be able to eat so much so soon after surgery?
