Default Packing and moving to calgary

I started packing boxes when we signed the contract to build the new house, so I packed sporadically from May until October. We were reducing from a large 5 bedroom house to a 3-bedroom house, so I had lots of purging to do. As I packed, I would identify items I couldn't use in the new house and carry them right to the car for donating to Goodwill. That way I wasn't likely to change my mind. I thought I'd done a pretty good job of paring down to what we would actually use. BUT...I will tell you now....figure out what you can actually use in your new place, and get rid of the rest NOW. Even after all my purging before the move, I've already taken 4 SUV loads of stuff to the Goodwill in our new city. I'm talking about incidents where I cut open the box and walked straight to the car with items, mumbling "WHY did I pack this???" Forget sentimentality...if you can't use it, give it to someone who can. Don't move into your new place and cram all the closet full of stuff you won't see again until the next time you move.

I was transporting a church organ. Let's just say I couldn't move it, that much is clear. I couldn't even find anyone I knew to help me move it to the exit. There were guys all together who lifted it by the lid and messed up the string tuning. They just decided to move it, scratched the floor for me. I was so angry. The only thing I was able to do was moving to calgary (https://calgarymoverspro.ca). I didn't feel bad about anything as long as it was the same as it was before I moved in.

Set up the bed first and then the bathroom. Find the box with the bedsheets and pillows, set up the beds. Then find the towels, soaps/shampoo/toothbrush/toothpaste and pajamas. When you are so tired after the end of the day, and just want to go get cleaned up and lay down, you have everything ready. Set up the living room (TV and couch). Call for pizza delivery and enjoy.
