So, I weighed all the odds and I pulled the triggered and decided on the Gastric Sleeve. I have battled my weight since I was mid-twenties and now that it has started affecting my health over 20+ yrs later, I am over it! I am a grandmother of 10 and I am too young to not be able to have the fun my heart so desires with them, So, here is to my journey and I am looking forward to a much healthier me and happier self image. The BONUS - I'll be able to do more with the gkids.

Yes, I've seen older guys in this forum saying they decided to decrease one year of their life from surgery to gain more. It is true, as you'd feel a lot better after fully recovering from the operation. Continuing the old lifestyle prevents you from gaining access to whatever number of years you have left. But with the gastric sleeve, not only you unlock those years, but you get to enjoy them while feeling good and doing more.
