    Default Newbe here

    Hi everyone,
My name is Ruth and I am still in the planning stages. Everything is done except picking my gastric sleeve surgery date. I'm traveling to Las Vegas to have it done. My children all live there, so that is a bonus to me. Surgery and my babies all in one.

I would love any suggestions or maybe questions to ask before hand.

    Thank you again,
    Ruth

Planning on surgery the first of February but no exact date yet

    Hi Ruth

Welcome. This is a great place for support and advice.
If you have any specific questions please just ask.

Generally after surgery just follow your surgeons instructions, sip as much water as often as you can, walk as often and as far as you can increasing the time/distance as you feel able. Be positive :-). This is a really exciting time and you are going to love the transformation.

As you decrease in size buy new clothes cheapy and not too many at a time. You will be amazed at how quickly you move through the sizes.

You tastes may alter a little after surgery so don't stock up on large quantities of things like protein shakes until you know that you really do like them. There are many different brands and flavours and some taste better than others - it is all down to the individual.

Just some random thoughts - I'm sure that there will be other come along with some other suggestions too.

    All the best.

Please keep us posted on your progress.
