I am a 45 yr old mother to 3 grown children and nana to 3 wonderful grandchildren. I initially was sent to see my surgeon for a hiatal hernia repair. This led to him informing me that he would need to do a sleeve also or I would be in the same position again. He told me he would not do the repair without it. After some thought and research I sided with him. My weight loss was at a stand still anyway. I did three preop appts and three dietician appts before my date was set.
