Hello!
I am coming up on my surgery date and am looking for and willing to give support to others on this journey.
My main concern is the diet progression and psychological aspect of food relationships. I have many years in the restaurant industry and have a passion for food that I am concerned about.
I've lost 42 pounds pre-surgery through portion control and finding ways to prepare healthier options that retain nutrition and flavor. I now cook all my meals (as opposed to ordering them) while listening to music and enjoying the art of making good food.
Any recipes or preparation ideas are welcome (I'll be reading all the forums) and I'd love to hear how post-op has gone for you.
