Default Getting In My Own Way

Hello- I underwent band revision to sleeve about 50 days ago. I am down 42 lbs (about 60 to go.) Recently I have been hungry and undisciplined ...my head is still the same. I thought my hunger would be gone but it's not. I am concerned as it seems that I am able to eat more than most others at this stage.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Oh, losing 42lbs is not lost on me. I just want to keep going and want it gone forever

    Input is appreciated

You have to have a strong talk with yourself and figure out why in the world you would go through the drama of this surgery and then sabotage yourself. You are still too early out to feel this way. Stop and think about what you are doing. You can do it!

I was so excited during that first year when I lost all my weight, I didn't even think about hunger. IF you are eating how you should, protein first, veggies, and good carbs if room, you'll be fine. Tell me a chicken breast doesn't fill you up! If you start eating junk at this stage, you'll be done. Sounds like you know exactly what to do losing 42 pounds already. Keep it up.

Later on you will feel real hunger. You just have to feed it with healthy food. You've got this!

A girl had the surgery a month after me, over 7 years ago. She's still obese (lost some and gained it all back) and I am at a healthy weight climbing mountains. Your choice. Stick to the program because it works. Good luck!!
