GERD - possible revision to gastric bypass

I am seven weeks sleeve post-op. I was readmitted one week after surgery for GERD (couldn't get liquids down, horrible acid reflux). I am still really struggling with GERD. I take 40 mg of Protonix twice a day, Carafate, and Tums. I am on the blended/soft food stage. I am probably going to have to have a revision to bypass and before the end of the year since insurance out of pocket maximum has been met. Has anyone experienced this? How hard was the bypass surgery? Any shared information would be appreciated. I am ready to feel well!

Seeing I have not suffered with GERD my reply wouldn't mean anything! All I can say is work with your surgeon as to what he/she recommends. Feel better! Hope you get some replies from people who have experiences similar to yours.
