It never ceases to me amaze the difference in clothing sizes. There's no way there should be this much difference.

I agree, it's the same over here. I can be one size at one shop and then a totally different size at another.
It seems that there is no real standard and it just depends on the manufacturer.

Women's clothing is often off. While I typically wear an 8, I do fit in a size 12 Kuhl hiking pants! I should cut that horrible number out! Maybe it's European sizing or something.

My size 8 pants fit just as well as my size 10 pants. It absolutely makes no sense!

Gladly I never have such problems! The biggest issue is that I can hardly find my size whenever I go. I even usually buy clothes from the children's section! Actually, the one-time problem I faced with size measurements was when I ordered Indian Clothes. I needed it for an Indian Wedding and, because of the new model of clothes, I had a critical time choosing my right size. But, I bought a beautiful Rama Blue Dress. Beautiful - little is said! The dress is absolutely extraordinary! The fabric is unusual but marvelous! I began to love their dresses!
