    Default Reset sleeve

Hi everyone. Sadly I have stretched my sleeve. Is there a diet /path to get back on track. I have gained 25 pounds and I’m so sad. I’m sure the depression and anxiety from this pandemic hasn’t helped..
    Please help?

    Hi Brenda,
In the past I gained 20 pounds. I did a hard reset. I went back to basics. I got out my sleeve bible and got my head on straight. I also joined Weight Watchers (I'm a lifetime member), for the accountability. These things helped me. You can do it. Take charge. You will feel so much better. Good Luck.

The pandemic has effected a lot of people on different ways. It is a very stressful time for a lot of us.

As Kenson said perhaps going right back to basics would be the answer. It would give you something definite to concentrate on too :-). Weigh and measure your food, and your self if you feel ok about that. Keep a food diary and make yourself accountable again.

Not sure where you are in the world but if you are going into Fall/Winter that won't help either. Perhaps if the weather is still ok you could try and go for some walks locally (if that is allowed). Just to get out and about in the fresh air. I know that sometimes I really have to push myself to go out but I always feel so much better afterwards. My partner and I went for a walk yesterday and it started to rain. We carried on and yes we got a bit wet and it was a little cold (and we are in Spring!) but we got home, put some dry clothes on and had a warm drink and felt very pleased that we had persevered.

The good thing is that you know that you have done this before and you know that you can do it again.

Sending you all good wishes. Please let us know how you are getting on.

It isn't your sleeve that needs a reset; it's your mind. And it's totally doable! Almost all of us have gone through periods of weight gain. I know I have. I joined Weight Watchers, but do whatever might work for you. Maybe it's My Fitness Pal or counting calories. Maybe it's just looking up all your old materials as to how you were taught to eat. Maybe it's starting an exercise program. But it definitely starts with what you are eating.

Your sleeve may not have stretched. Can you eat a whole steak, or pork chop, or chicken breast? I know I can't. But I can eat "slider" foods (junk) without ever feeling full. Could be more related to what you are eating than the size of your stomach.

If you want to try that "sleeve reset" go for it, but I don't believe it would do any good. Just my opinion though. It wouldn't hurt anything.

Find what works for you to lose the weight. Now, before more pounds add on. Best of luck to you.
