Default Techniques to slightly stretch stomach

    Hi Folks,

    At about 3 months.

It been challenging. Feeling too full, too quickly. Stomach tightness.

Since am active athlete, I'm finding my 3 month sleeve cannot accommodate enough food to get a good beginner's work out in.

How long does this post surgery stomach tightness last?

Doctors and Dr. V said the stomach can indeed stretch over time.

In fact, competitive eaters "train" to stretch their stomachs to hold tons of hot dogs!

Does anyone know foods, liquids, hot, cold, yoga, nutrients, or unique "techniques" to help me accelerate stretching my stomach just a little bit?

I was low BMIer, so don't have issue quickly losing weight again, because I used be able go for hours in pool and gym. I can burn 1k calories easily.

But, now my small sleeve is limiting food volume *too* much at 3 months.

Even if I can stretch my stomach 5-10%, would be happy. This would help me reach exercise goals.

    Any tips?

    Thank you!
    Gary

After 3 months I started going to the gym and was knackered (UK slag for tired out) afterwards, feeling like I’d fall asleep on the drive home and then shortly falling asleep on the sofa when home...

I was told by the dietician to give it another 3 months as weight loss was good and that my stomach simply couldn’t consume the calories to enable a good workout.

My advice, be patient and give it time.

I think that you should be trying to achieve goals regarding your sleeve. Your exercise goals will come. You are still very new to the sleeve to be trying to manipulate your recovery in any type of way. Your stomach cannot accommodate the amount of food that you are indicating, of which I am sure you know this information. Be patient, you will be able to work out the way that you want in time. Of course this is simply my opinion.

Sounds crazy to me, but that's just my opinion. It's like you are trying to reverse your surgery. Find ways to get in more calories, like eat more smaller meals. Snack on healthy food, like nuts. They even have the little tubes of "goo" that are calorie packed, often used by athletes.
