    Default Surgery day!

Well it’s finally here.... the big day... couldn’t sleep much tonight from a combo of excitement and nerves so I’m trying to occupy my extra time until surgery check-in in about 6 hours! Any tips for the first week are gladly appreciated!! ❤️

Good Luck! Everything will be fine. Follow your bariatric teams advice. First week is liquids so sip, sip, sip. Don't get dehydrated!

All the best. Rest up, sip water all the time, start walking as often and as far as you can.
    You will do great :-)

Out of surgery for a few hours now and just resting in bed. At first they couldn’t get the nausea controlled and I got multiple meds that really sedated me but now I actually feel semi human! Taking a sip of water about ever 5-10 min with some ice cubes and we are about to walk. Hubby says I have a little color in my face now so that’s awesome. Feeling some of that gas pain but overall pain meds are keeping me at a low pain level. First ever surgery in the books! Now to sip and walk the night away! I
