    Default Hello

Hi, I’m a complete newbie to the world of forums. I’ve never been on one before. I’m due to have my surgery in the morning . I am excited to start this journey but very nervous about the operation. I’ve been on the pre op diet for 2 weeks and I’ve lost 12lb. I Wasn’t on liquid only. My surgeon gave me a high protein diet with no carbs, sugars or fats. I just want to say hi and do my 1st post before tomorrow. X

Thank you for the reply’s, I’m back at home recovering. My surgeon said the operation went well.

The 2 days in hospital were really hard going, mainly the gas pain. However that has subsided a little now and I’m feeling much more comfortable.

I’m struggling with getting the fluids down as well as vitamins and some smooth soups or milk etc. Any tips would be gratefully received.
